Happy 3rd Birthday, Haven!

We hoped on public transportation and took Haven to the zoo! We visited with the animals and Haven had a blast climbing and playing and riding the rides and eating cotton candy (wata cukrowa). πŸ˜€

On the bus on the way, I had a really nice lady talk with me (but I forgot how to politely introduce myself, so I don’t know her name). Then, on the way back to the house, we met up with her again. I asked to take her picture and she said yes. πŸ™‚ #babciaPower

This merry go round was just inside the zoo gate.

Outside, the zoo looked a little forbidding. But inside, it was joyful and peaceful, and full of families and school groups having a great time.

Little kid’s ropes course: 10 zΕ‚ (about $3) for two people.

The Zoo had an excellent aquarium and terrarium exhibit, but no pictures are allowed. The many different kinds of brightly colored poison dart frogs are especially interesting. (Makes me think of a good start to a new murder mystery.)

And food! (Of course.) Y’all. Fresh salad and coleslaw (Brian says “Poleslaw”, and it is often the first thing gone from the plate because it’s really good). Fresh stuff came with the meal. It was so nice!

Cotton candy four times the size of Haven’s head. 5 zΕ‚, about $1.70.

“Mom! I sticky!”

No kidding!

Time to head to the tram stop and go home.

After a short rest and a meal, it’s birthday cake present time! Epic Polish candle.
