Kami has hiked in the Andes, traversed the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, slept in the Florida swamps, and hiked hundreds of miles on the Appalachian Trail. She has studied music, practiced the martial arts, and faced down a long train of exotic medical conditions. Along the way she has brought creative people together and helped them form small, closely-knit communities some have called “tribes”. She and her family are now (summer 2018) embarking on a new adventure: living in central Europe. Kami and her husband are going from owning a house in town and a cabin in the mountains to stepping onto the plane with their two daughters (a teen and a toddler), and a dog, and three duffles. At the suggestion of her friends, she plans to share her experiences in her latest extraordinary adventure and maybe rehash some thoughts on her other exploits and ordeals.
