    1. Hi Mike!
      The red soupy stuff is a refreshing, cold soup made of plain yogurt, beets, cucumber, and red cabbage. It’s called chłodnik. Since we’ve been experiencing much higher temperatures than usual this summer, it’s pretty popular. I got the recipe from a new Polish friend at Bible study. 🙂
