Things cooled down quite a bit. Our world grew even darker. Whenever we saw sunshine, we bared our skin as much as we dared, just to try to soak it in.

Haven’s preschool class had their Christmas show.

Santa came with toys for all the children.

Rainbows kept popping up!

(Here are a couple of random pictures from just walking around town.)

We visited the Christmas Market and Bethlehem in Poznań.

Brian took Haven on her first rollercoaster! Then she rode it by herself. 😲 She’s 3, y’all. Kid has no fear.

There were other rides, of course.

And good Polish food.

Annora and the young ladies from church performed a beautiful choreography to the song “Mary, Did You Know?” on the stage at Bethlehem in Poznań.

Haven was thrilled to be a sheep in the church Christmas Nativity program. Anita was one of the starting angels who did God’s bidding, making sure everything was in place for Jesus to be born.

International Ice Sculpture Competition! The teams were pretty frustrated because that day, the weather decided to warm to the your 40s F, and the sky dripped a bit from time to time.

I turned 41. 😲😲😲

My two favorite girls!
